Dawes County Attorney Vance Haug says it appears an elderly Chadron woman found dead in her home Wednesday afternoon died of natural causes.

Haug says 80-year old Marilyn “Mitzi” Lecher was found shortly after 2:00 pm, with a preliminary investigation indicating she died of natural causes.
