xfactor
LOS ANGELES (AP) – They’re short two judges, but auditions for “The X Factor” begin next month. The first auditions will be held March 6 in Los Angeles. After that, there will be stops in Charleston, New Orleans, Long Island and Denver. You can also audition online until June 15. More information is on the X Factor website.

Meanwhile, auditions for the tenth season of “So You Think You Can Dance” continue in Boston on February 21. There have already been auditions in Austin and Detroit. Still to come are casting calls in Memphis and Los Angeles. Whoever nails the auditions will get a ticket to Vegas for call-backs. That’s when they’ll work with choreographers and be judged in several different styles of dance. The best of those people will make it to the live competition episodes this summer.

SHOWTIME TO AIR “HISTORY OF THE EAGLES”–GOOD, BAD AND UGLY

EAGLES

NEW YORK (AP) – The documentary on The Eagles has an unusual moment for a rock film: it shows the exact moment they fell apart. “History of The Eagles” contains film footage of a political fundraiser in 1980. Don Felder didn’t want to be there and Glenn Frey didn’t like his attitude. The Eagles stayed apart for 14 years after that. Felder even breaks down while talking about that incident all these years later. Frey says they agreed to do the film while everyone was still healthy and could still remember things. “History of The Eagles” runs in two parts on Showtime tomorrow and Saturday.

B947_AdeleLOS ANGELES (AP) — The guy who jumped on stage as Adele accepted her Grammy on Sunday may look familiar to Will Smith. It’s the same Ukrainian journalist who tried to kiss Smith during a movie premiere in Moscow last year and Smith slapped him.

Vitalii Sediuk says he snuck into the Grammys behind Katy Perry and no one asked him for a ticket. He believes he sat in Adam Levine’s seat. Sediuk says he spontaneously decided to go on stage with Adele, but Jennifer Lopez pulled him away.

Sediuk was arrested and spent the night in jail. He has a court date next month to face a trespassing charge. Now he’s appealing to Adele. In his words, “Oh Adele. Help me not to go to jail.”
