BURBANK, Calif. (AP) – If you think Betty White has been on TV forever – you’re almost right. She tells Jay Leno she’s been given the Guinness World Record for the longest career in television, 65 years. White was around long before starring in “The Golden Girls” and being a co-star on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show.” And it’s a career that continues. White’s TV Land comedy “Hot In Cleveland” will broadcast live next Wednesday for its season premiere. White’s no stranger to live TV. She notes that everything was broadcast live when she started.
