Dr. Timothy Narjes (center) was honored this week with the Box Butte General Hospital Medical Provider of Choice award for the First Quarter of 2015. He is the first repeat Provider of Choice, having been chosen for the Fourth Quarter of 2012.

Presenting the plaque were, l-r– Chief Nursing Officer Carolyn Jones, Admissions Manager Melanie Johnston and Nursing Administrative Assistant Tammy Griffee.

Nominated by a patient of his, Dr. Narjes was cited as being “dedicated to his patients day after day, as well as the staff who work with him. He is determined to figure out a correct diagnosis and a correct treatment. Over the past year, I have had the privilege to call him my ‘provider of choice.’ Even if appointments get behind, I know the wait is well worth it because of the provider I’m seeing. Dr. Narjes is a very caring and compassionate man. No matter how far behind he may be, he never rushes my appointment. Thank you Dr. Narjes for the outstanding care you give to your patients!”

Dr. Narjes began his medical career in family medicine and OB with Alliance Family Medicine, where he continues to practice as a clinic partner with Dr. Terri Myers and Physician Assistants Steve Rolls and Lonnie Grant. Also practicing at the clinic are Physician Assistant Katie Metz and Nurse Practitioner Sally Bryner.

Dr. Narjes is Chief of Staff of BBGH, and is the medical director for Prairie Haven Hospice of Alliance. He and his wife Kari have two sons: four year old Xander and 18 month old Nathan.
