By Ashley Hinker

After searching the residence of Kelly Clark, 34, police arrested her for possession of a controlled substance on September 11th. They had evidence to prove Brian Chesson, 41, also resided with her but he was not located at the address. Officers searched for Chesson until the next day to present the search warrant of his possessions and vehicle. While they utilized the K-9 unit to search Chesson’s duffle bags, the vehicle they searched actually belonged to Jason Fischer, who was with Chesson at the time of the search. Sufficient evidence of possession and alleged methamphetamine use resulted in the arrest of both Chesson and Fischer.
An amended complaint on both Chesson and Clark states they are both being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class II Felony, Child Abuse, a Misdemeanor, and Possession of Marijuana (one ounce or less), an Infraction. Clark is additionally charged with being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, a Class III Misdemeanor. Clark recently had a meeting with counsel on October 4th while Chesson’s latest appearance was October 2nd.
Jason Fischer, 25, is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Class II Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, an infraction. He is not scheduled to make his initial appearance until November 13th. All three are currently out on bond.

PETER CRISS OPENS UP ABOUT ATTEMPTED SUICIDE

NEW YORK (AP) – Peter Criss of Kiss knows what a .357 Magnum tastes like — because he shoved the barrel of one down his throat in a suicide attempt. Rolling Stone has published an excerpt from his upcoming autobiography, “Makeup to Breakup: My Life In and Out of Kiss.” Criss writes it was 1994 and he felt like a has-been, with two failed marriages, a floundering career and hardly any money. Then the Northridge earthquake hit Southern California and destroyed what little he had. Criss says that’s when he decided to kill himself. In the rubble of his apartment, with the gun in his mouth, he saw the photo of his daughter was not damaged. That’s when he decided life was worth living. “Makeup to Breakup” comes out October 23.

Adam Levine also picked up a singer dropped by Cee Lo Green. Tonight on The Voice, more of the battle round.

BACKED BY GOP, FISCHER TOUTS BIPARTISAN APPROACH

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – GOP U.S. Senate candidate Deb Fischer is promising to work with Democrats if elected, but she made her pledge at a news conference surrounded by an all-Republican group of lawmakers.

Fischer, a state senator from Valentine running against Democrat Bob Kerrey, announced the endorsements Monday of 75 current and former Republican state lawmakers from across the state.

Both Fischer and Kerrey have pitched themselves as the best candidate to cross party lines.

Fischer says she worked with Democrats during her eight years in the Legislature. Asked why no Democrats joined with Republicans to attest to her bipartisan approach, she responded, “I have a great group of senators here behind me.”

Kerrey spokesman Chris Triebsch says the endorsements show Fischer would take a partisan approach if voters sent her to Washington.
