Ashlyn Eitemiller, who is a senior at Chadron High School, has signed her letter of intent to play volleyball with Colorado School of Mines Orediggers.
Eitemiller, a three-sport athlete for the Cardinals holds several school records, including kills in a season (359), kills in a career (1,002), season attack percentage (.420), service aces in a game (17), service aces in a season (75) and service aces in a career (197).
Ashlyn also earned First Team Western Conference honors and All-State from the Omaha World Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star. She earned First Team Western Conference Scholar-Athlete.
Ashlyn also made the NSAA Academic All-State Volleyball Team.
Head volleyball coach of Colorado School of Mines Jamie Skadeland said “”Ashlyn is going to have a great career here at CSM. She is extremely hard-working and coachable. I think Ashlyn will catch on to our offensive and defensive system quickly. She will be a great leader by example.”
