On top of searching for a new high school principal and a variety of teaching positions, the Alliance Public Schools are also searching for a new high school head wrestling coach, a new high school head volleyball coach and a new middle school football and boys basketball coach and middle school activities administrator, as coaches Travis Peak, Hope Gillaspy, and Ed Sughroue have announced their resignations effective at the end of the school year.

Superintendent of Schools Troy Unzicker says he believes those positions will be fillled sometime in May.

Peak is moving to Wyoming, Sughroue will relocate to Hastings, and Gillaspy is expecting a child.

Unzicker says the process has also begun to find a successor to high school principal Dr. Pat Jones, who resigned last month.
