The Alliance Public Schools Foundation will sponsor their 1st Annual Golf Scramble, Saturday July 18, at Skyview Golf Course in Alliance. The event is a 4 person, 18 hole scramble format and is limited to the first 36 teams to register. The cost is $75 per person or $300 per team, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, individual mulligans and a steak dinner following golf. Social tickets are also available for $25 for those not playing golf. Tee time is 12:30 pm with a shotgun start. Checks may be made payable to Alliance Public Schools Foundation.
The Proceeds from this event will go to the Alliance Track Fund, where a committee is currently raising funds to build a new Track at Bulldog Stadium. KCOW’s Mike Glesinger visited with Charles Lierk of the APS Foundation about the Golf Event and the decision to give the proceeds to the Track Fund.
