APD Help With Stolen Camper

According to Alliance Police Chief John Kiss, “On July 27, at approximately 3 :25 PM,  the Alliance Police Department were called in reference to a stolen 2015 Puma Palomino camper trailer being pulled by a white Dodge van in the area of K-Mart parking lot in the 1500 Block of West Third Street.”

“Officer’s checked the area and could not locate the vehicle or camper at K-Mart. Shortly thereafter the Dodge Van along with the Camper were located parked at the Maverick Gas and Convenience Store located at 1640 West Third Street. Officer’s from the Alliance Police Department made contact with the two occupants. They were identified as Randi M. Reed and Bob C. Beetz, both with Oklahoma residence.”

“While investigating the situation and dispatch speaking with Sterling, Colorado authorities it was determined that the camper had been stolen from their jurisdiction. The information provided by Sterling authorities matched the identity of the male and the suspect vehicle by description and license number. The camper was valued at $10,000.00.”

“Reed and Beetz were in possession of three dogs that were taken and placed in the Animal Shelter until the disposition of the case. Their vehicle as well as the camper was impounded pending disposition by the court or County Attorney’s Office.”

“Randi M. Reed, age 42, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Bob C. Beetz, age 45, of Newalla, Oklahoma were arrested and placed in the Box Butte County Jail. Both individuals were arrested for Theft by Receiving Stolen Property a Felony.”
