ALLIANCE ST. AGNES REPORT – APRIL 2

Dear Parents and Students,

I hope you had wonderful Easter! The rest of the school year is going to fly by.

We have many events on the horizon. One very important event is First Communion. Our second grade will receive their First Eucharist, in a special Mass, Sunday, April 7, at 2 pm.

Today the track team is at Bayard. It looks like a beautiful day for a track meet. Good luck, Crusaders!

Parent’s Inc. is serving Sam and Louie’s Pizza for hot lunch, Wednesday, April 3. The cost for lunch is $2.50. You may purchase an extra slice of pizza for $1:00. There will be no hot lunch served so if you don’t want pizza you’ll need to bring a cold lunch.

The SAY group has donated a printer to the school’s computer lab.  It was purchased from Nebraska Total Office through funds made available from the SAA Wreath Sales.  Thanks go out to Mrs. Kaping and Timm Hoff for volunteering their time to get the printer installed and set up for classroom use.

The Calendar Lottery winners for the month of April are Rosie Schmeits, Suzi Lore, Angy Fancher, Mary Snyder, and John Adam. They all won $75 and they are all from Alliance.

On April 15 at 7 pm in the PAC at Alliance High School, all area 8th grade students will meet with high school officials. This is an informational meeting and registration materials for next school year will be available. It is important that 8th grade students attend with at least one parent. On Tuesday, April 16, Travis Hawk will meet with the SAA students to answer any questions and collect registration forms.

On April 16, KCOW will broadcast live from St. Agnes from 11 am til 2 pm.  We want to get the word out about our school and all the wonderful things that happen here. So help us spread the word about our terrific school.

Remember students are not allowed to wear shorts to school until April 16.  Due to fire code, students are not allowed to wear flip flops or sandals without a back to school.

Alliance_St._AgnesDon’t forget the music program is scheduled for April 11 at 7:00 pm in the Parish Center Gym.

Kelly McCracken is looking for someone to help cut the Box Tops for Education labels from the class contests. If you would be willing to help, please call Kelly.

God Bless,

Theresa Parker, Principal
