Dear Parents and Students:

Congratulations to this month’s calendar winners; Tiffanie Taylor and Stan  Fitzsimmons each won $125, Pam Cyza, Cody Childers, Kevin and Jenny Oligmueller, and Angela Isom each won $75.

Congratulations to the Chili Feed prize winners; K – Bailey Shannon,1st – Mason Lunbery, 2nd – Delaney Childers, 2nd – Annaka Digmann, 7th – Cherokee Purviance.

We have a very busy month ahead of us. I will do my best to keep you informed of all the events that are taking place. First, thank you to James Girard for agreeing to go to Minnesota and pick up the wreaths for us. We will assemble the wreaths and distribute them on Sunday, November 18. Thanks, James, you are wonderful!

Thank you to Deb Dopheide and Keep Alliance Beautiful for including us in the special insert of the Alliance Times Herald.

We start each day with prayers, the Pledge of Allegiance and now we have added an anti-bullying pledge, which states, “I will not use my hands or words for hurting myself or others.” Hopefully, this daily reminder will help us treat each other with respect.

Contrary to the schedule in the Times Herald, we DO have school this Friday, Nov. 9.

The date for bringing photos to school for the Veterans Day Program has been
extended to Thursday, November 8th. They must have a short, typed description of the veteran. If no description is provided with the photo it will be displayed as is. Please do not send pictures to school in frames. The photo must be a single photo that can have  tape placed on the back and used for our display.

Join us on Tuesday, November 13, as the eighth graders have a celebration of  themselves from 1:45 – 3:00 PM. Parents are invited.

The girls’ basketball games versus Sioux County will be played on Tuesday,
November 13, at 4:30, rather than Saturday November 10.

The SAY meeting will be Wednesday, November 14th, at 3:20 PM, instead of
Tuesday, November 13th, due to the basketball game being rescheduled.

Until next week,
