23 year old Brandon Stites of Alliance is accused of sexually assaulting a 14 year old girl and was charged in Box Butte County Court on Monday. Stites is charged with two counts of 1st degree sexual assault of a child with one count of 3rd degree sexual assault. According to court documents the assaults happened around June 30th of this year. The preliminary hearing is set for July 18th. Court documents say that Stites posted 10% of his $20,000 bond. If convicted, each of the 1st degree sexual assault of a child charges holds a penalty of 20 years to life in prison.
