The Alliance Volunteer Fire Department and the Alliance Municipal Landfill staff will be conducting a controlled burn at the landfill on Thursday, May 5 beginning at 7:00 a.m.  The crews will be burning excessive brush and trees that have been brought to the landfill.  The burn is anticipated to last all day.  The landfill will remain open during the controlled burn.
