According to Lt. Edward Tjaden of the Alliance Police Department, “On June 1, 2017 at approximately 6:00 PM, a gas line was damaged during construction activities near 10th and Flack Streets in Alliance.  The Alliance Fire Department and Black Hills Energy were on scene, along with the Alliance Police Department, and the street closures lasted until approximately 1:00 AM when repairs were completed.”
