Alliance Council Introduces Many New Employees, And Police Officers

The Alliance City Council met Tuesday night to discuss a decent sized agenda. Many new City employees were announced including: Deb Hanks, Kody Jordan, Cheney O’Connor as Street Maintenance Workers, Tyler Sherlock, George Medina, and Dani Campbell as Police Officer, Shannon Sutherland as Account Clerk III/Utility Office Supervisor, and Kelly Keller as Administrative Secretary/Administration.

Council approved the 2018/2019 Budget Presentation Overview and the Additional 1% Budgeted Restricted Funds. There was a third reading on the Dedication of 12th Street. This is for East 12th Street between Potash Avenue and Flack Avenue.

Lee and Elizabeth Fritzler were approved for a Preliminary Plat that will combine a one acre tract with a five acre tract to expand their business, Red Beard Garage and Towing. Nick’s Gas and Liquor had a Class D Liquor License approved.
