The winner of the Alliance 125th birthday logo contest is Aaron Wade of Alliance.

Alliance will celebrate its 125th birthday in 2013.

The logo was chosen by a committee of three, with the names of the contestants being withheld before and during the judging.

Wade, the editor of the Hemingford Ledger newspaper, was awarded $75 in Alliance Chamber Bucks, sponsored by the Carnegie Arts Center.
