A Nebraska radio stalwart has died. John Howard served as Sales Manager for Eagle radio stations KQSK and KCNB from 1991 to 2006, and continued serving the company on a free-lance basis through 2009. Beginning in the 1950s Howard worked for a variety of Nebraska radio stations in a variety of positions. By 1991 Howard was General Manager of a radio group in Chadron which included 97.5 fm KQSK. When that station was sold to Eagle Communications, Howard joined the Eagle team as Sales Manager. John Howard is remembered as an old school radio man who expected the best from his coworkers and delivered the best to his clients. A service announcement for John Howard is pending.
