The Alliance Fire Department was called to a situation at Grandview Elementary School close to 9pm on Tuesday night. According to Alliance Fire Chief Troy Shoemaker , we were “dispatched for a cooking odor coming from the kitchen.” Shoemaker says they found nothing when investigating the Grandview School kitchen. They had one fire engine and four firefighters on scene with assistance from Alliance Police Department.
