According to Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands Public Affairs Officer Cydney Janssen (MHA), “Fire officials from the Pine Ridge Ranger District plan to burn slash piles southeast of Chadron near The Cliffs, approximately 8 miles SE of Chadron. Smoke may be visible from Hwy. #20 and Hwy. #385 and Chadron.”
