“MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR” FILM RE-RELEASED ON iTUNES

LONDON (AP) – The band Traffic was supposed to be in The Beatles film “Magical Mystery Tour.” The Beatles asked Traffic to perform their 1967 single “Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush,” but that was cut from the film. It’s now part of the bonus material included in the film’s release this week on iTunes. Other bonus material includes a scene John Lennon shot called “Nat’s Dream” and one with actor Ivor Cutler, who played the bus conductor, called “I’m Going In A Field.” Three new edits are included of “Your Mother Should Know,” “Blue Jay Way” and “The Fool On The Hill.” Paul McCartney provides director’s commentary.
