LOS ANGELES (AP) – Mike Love has said he didn’t fire Brian Wilson from The Beach Boys. Wilson says it sort of feels like he did. Wilson writes in the Los Angeles Times they’ve had several offers to continue their reunion tour, and since it’s been fun, why wouldn’t they want to continue. Love had said they had only intended to do a certain number of shows, and he had planned for a Beach Boys tour after the reunion tour that only featured himself and Bruce Johnston. Wilson says they never discussed the offers that came in once the reunion was underway. He says he still loves Love and he welcomes a call from him.
