Thursday was the opening day of the Western Conference Girls and Boys Basketball Tournament. First round games were played at home sites, with the Tournament shifting to Scottsbluff High School and WNCC for action on Friday and Saturday.

The tournament wraps up on Saturday with the girls 7th place game at 11 am at SHS, the girls 5th place game at 2:30 pm at SHS, the girls 3rd place game at 11 am at WNCC and the girls championship game at 2:30 pm at WNCC.  The boys 7th place game is set for 12:45 pm at SHS,  the boys 5th place game at 4:15 pm at SHS.  The boys 3rd place game at 12:45 pm at WNCC and the Boys Championship game at 4:15 pm at WNCC.  All Alliance games will be broadcast on KCOW AM 1400 and panhandlepost.com
