LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A payroll error delayed paychecks for nearly 2,000 Kawasaki workers in Lincoln this weekend.
Everyone who works at the plant was affected, but company officials say they should receive their checks by Monday.
Plant manager Mike Boyle says the paychecks workers expected Friday were delayed because of an error made by a contractor that processes the company’s paychecks.
Boyle acknowledged the terrible timing for the error coming in the middle of a holiday weekend. Employees will be reimbursed for any overdraft fees that resulted from the delay.
