Thanksgiving week brings the excitement of a big turkey dinner, the tradition of Husker football on Black Friday and the start to the Christmas season.  AM 1400 KCOW will be celebrating this week with a variety of special programs.

“The Spirit Of ’66: A Wenty, Krohe and Mr. Kite Special.”  1:00-3:00pm 

KCOW’s Jason Wentworth and Kalin Krohe are joined by Alliance native Jeremy Fifield for a two-hour look back at 1966-a year that changed rock and roll.  Highlights will include tracks from The Beatles’ “Revolver”, The Beach Boys “Pet Sounds”, and Bob Dylan’s “Blonde On Blonde.”  The boys will also share tracks from other singers and bands who hit it big in ’66.
