The Chadron High School Wrestling team took part in the Shane Shatto Memorial Wrestling Invitational in Douglas Wyoming over the weekend.  Colby Riesen (wt.160) and Chance Bila (wt. 170) both took home gold for the Cardinals for the second straight year.

Chance Bila was named the tournament’s most outstanding wrestler for the second consecutive year.

Willy Cogdill took second place in the 152 pound weight class, while Trace Strothide came in 3rd in the 126 pound weight class.

Chadron finished with 127 points to take fifth place, while Cheyenne East won the tournament.

Chadron will travel to Lexington this Friday January 11th for the Lexington Duals.
