2013 is here, and it is time to exclaim, Happy 125th Birthday, Alliance!

Several events will take place during 2013 to commemorate Alliance’s Quasquicentennial, including a kickoff celebration on Saturday, January 26, at Newberry’s in downtown Alliance.

Alliance’s 125th Gala, “STETSONS, STILETTOS & STEAM ENGINES” will include a social, dinner, entertainment, and dance.

Tickets are $50 a person and are available now at the Box Butte Development/Chamber of Commerce office, Knight Museum, or from Kristi Ellstrom at the Box Butte General Hospital marketing office at 2107 Box Butte Avenue.

Checks should be made payable to The Museum Partners.  

Proceeds to community betterment projects.

The schedule of events include:

– Social at 6 pm.
– Dinner at 7 pm., which includes a Rib Eye Steak, Baked Potato, Salad, Roll and desert.
– Entertainment and unsung hero introduction at 8 p.m.
– Dance from 9 to 12 with music provided by Complete Music.
