The annual Alliance two-day holiday  basketball tournament wrapped up Friday.

In the girls division, Mitchell won the third place game by defeating Bridgeport, 48-37, while Alliance won the championship by downing Gordon-Rushville, 44-30.

Named to the All Sportsmanship Team were, Dina Cantu of Bridgeport, Sara Marlett of Gordon-Rushville, Taylor Peters of Mitchell and Danielle Brennan of Alliance.   Morgan Anthony of Alliance was named most valuable player.

In the boys division, Mitchell won the third place game over Gordon-Rushville, 72-38, while Bridgeport won the boys championship over Alliance, 37-35.

Named to the All Sportsmanship Team were, Sam Piper of Gordon-Rushville, Adam Schlotthauer of Mitchell, Gaige Lehl of Alliance, and Cody Franklin of Bridgeport.   Jamie Gonzalez of Bridgeport was named most valuable player.
