The 7th President of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Dr. Hank Bounds was in Alliance Monday afternoon, May 2nd. He was the featured speaker at the Rotary Club that met at noon at Newberry’s. Eagle Radio’s News Director, Kalin Krohe set up an interview with Dr. Bounds before he left the sandhills to go meet with folks in Bayard. During the interview Dr. Bounds touched on what he’s looking forward to as the new President at UNL, “Commit to Complete”, his plans for expanding opportunities for students, the four cornerstones that separate UNL for other universities, and UNL’s economic impact for the state of Nebraska.
