GAME AND PARKS DEER MEETING TUES 12/18 AT CSC

Nebraska Game and Parks brings its statewide series of public input meetings on deer problems in the state to Chadron State College with a session Tuesday night at 7:00 in the Student Center.

Wildlife manager Todd Nordeen of the Game and Parks district office in Alliance says agency biologists will explain and take questions on a number of topics including deer management, deer damage and depredation permits, antlerless harvest, trophy management and diseases.

Nordeen says the annual meetings have grown to fill an important part of the deer management process for Nebraska Game and Parks, bringing in new information and insights from the public.

Five of this year’s 7 meetings have already been held….McCook, Norfolk, Kearney, O’Neill, Gretna, and York. The only left after tonight’s 7:00 session at Chadron State College will be Thursday night in Bridgeport at the Prairie Winds Community Center, also at 7 p.m.
