Michael A. Lawrenz, 60, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at his home in Alliance.

He was born September 7, 1954 in Alliance, Nebraska to Arthur and Betty Lee (Miller) Lawrenz.

He was a member of the First Christian Church.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Ackerman of Alliance; his brothers, Gary Lawrenz and Stephen Lawrenz, both of Alliance, and Dale (Roberta) Lawrenz of Gering; his uncles and their families, Dr. Donald Miller of Warrensburg, MO and Floyd Miller of Cocoa Beach, FL; several nieces and nephews; and his friend and caregiver, Gary Murphy of Alliance.  He was preceded in death by his father.

At Michael’s request no memorial services will be held at this time.  Inurnment will be at a later date in the Alliance Cemetery.
