POTTER, Neb. (AP) – Bridge work is expected to hamper traffic on a state road that links the Nebraska Panhandle town of Potter to Interstate 80.
The Nebraska Department of Roads says work is expected to begin this week on L-17B and be completed by mid-October.
The scheduled work includes bridge deck and approach repair, installation of a waterproof membrane and asphalt overlay, reconstruction of bridge rail and installation of new guardrail.
The department says a temporary signal will control traffic, which will be hampered by a lane closure.
