Memorial services for Virginia Corbin of Crawford, Nebraska will be held on Tuesday,

July 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron. Inurnment will take

place at a later date at the Crawford City Cemetery.

Virginia was born on August 28, 1953 in Lusk, Wyoming and graduated from Crawford

High School.  She was a trained CNA and worked in several area nursing homes in

Nebraska for several years.  She was forced to retire due to illness.

Virginia resided at Prairie Pines Lodge in Chadron for a number of years and moved to

the Ponderosa Villa due to increased physical disability.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Leona (Hill) and Orville Corbin, and four

brothers, Jerry Lee, Clifford, Delbert, and David.

Virginia is survived by her sisters, Ima Jean McCorbin and husband Steve Martin of

Cripple Creek, CO, and Darlene (Willis) Thorne of Gillette, WY; also many nieces,

nephews and cousins.  Her companion was her cat, Champagne, which now resides

with Tom Serres.

A memorial has been established.  Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, Po
