A Very Active Heritage Days Week for the Alliance Police Department

The Alliance Police Department had a fairly busy Heritage Days week. The officers and dispatchers handled approximately 300 calls for service during the five day period, Wednesday through Sunday. A few of those calls were the following.

At about 6:00 a.m. on July 18th, Aristeo C. Garcia, age 28, of Alliance was arrested and officers charged him with Third Offense DUI Over 0.15 BAC.

At about 6:48 p.m. on July 18th, officers responded to a hit and run traffic accident in the 500 Block ofYellowstone Avenue. Charges of Willful Reckless Driving and Leaving the Scene of Property Damage Accident have been recommended on Daniel R. War Bonnett Jr. , age 23, of Lincoln, NE.

At about 12:46 a.m. on July 19th, officers responded to a fight in progress in the 200 Block of Box Butte Avenue. Cindy Campbell, age 53, of Alliance was arrested and booked into the Box Butte County Jail on the charge of Second Degree Assault. Natasha A. Garcia, age 25, of Alliance was transported by ambulance to Box Butte General Hospital. Officers recommended that Garcia be charged with Third Degree Assault, Mutual Consent.

Matthew D. Hernandez, age 29, of Scottsbluff, NE was arrested and booked into the Box Butte County Jail on charges of Obstructing a Peace Officer and Resisting Arrest. Officers have recommended an additional charge of Second Degree Criminal Trespass against Hernandez. Officers also are recommending charges of Obstructing a Peace Officer on Kristina M. Dubray, age 31, of Alliance.

At about 1:26 a.m. on July 19th, officers responded to a fight in the 100 Block of West 3rd Street. Marco G. Dubray, age 33, of Alliance was arrested for Third Degree Assault and Jason R. Dubray, age 47, of Wilber, NE was arrested for Obstructing a Peace Officer. Officers also recommended a charge of Third Degree Assault against Manuel A. Sanchez, age 29, of Alliance.

Alliance police officers have recently responded to eight vandalism calls related to vehicles being spray painted. Criminal Mischief charges have been recommended on a seventeen year old Alliance girl.
