Pitching & Hitting Click Together for Chadron on way to Juniors Championship Series

Three district games, three big wins for the top-seed Chadron Nationals in Gering.  The Junior Nats are one win away from taking the Area B7 crown and making it to the State tournament in Bennington.

Head Coach Jonn McLain is pleased with his team’s performance.

Chadron scored plenty of runs in its three wins, outscoring opponents 31-3.  The offense came from several outlets and McLain says the longball provided a boost.

Chadron’s pitching rotation dominated and has the Nats set up well for Tuesday in the double-elimination tourney.  In the first two games Chadron only allowed three hits against Hershland and Sidney.

Chadron will face either Ogallala or Gering to start Tuesday’s Championship Series.  Those two teams play an elimination game tonight (Monday) at 6:00.
