Lincoln – University of Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook announced on Tuesday that Melanie Keil has decided to transfer to Florida State, where she will be eligible to play this fall.

“Mel has chosen to finish out her career elsewhere and we wish her success there,” Cook said. “We’re grateful to her for all that she did for our program the past two years.”

Keil played in 22 matches as a sophomore last season, logging 1.22 kills and 0.94 blocks per set. The Berlin, Germany, native will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
