CASEY KASEM STILL NOT BURIED?
SEATTLE (AP) — The battle over Casey Kasem continues — even though he’s been dead a month. A rep for the radio legend’s daughter says Kasem hasn’t been laid to rest yet. The spokesman says Kasem’s second wife has the rights to his body — but hasn’t arranged for a burial. His daughter says the remains are still at a funeral home in Washington state, where he died June 15. Kasem’s children from his first marriage have been battling with Kasem’s second wife over his case in the months before he passed away. The children want him buried at Forest Lawn cemetery in California.

WEIRD AL YANKOVIC OUT WITH NEW PARODIES
UNDATED (AP) — Last year, they were big hits. This year, they’re fodder for parodies. Pharell’s “Happy” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” are the target of Weird Al Yankovic’s satire. The parody singer sends up both tunes in videos released to support his new album. “Tacky” spoofs Pharell’s Oscar-nominated song with a series of celebrities dressed in off outfits — like rocking sandals with socks. And the send-up of “Blurred Lines” is titled “Word Crimes” in which he takes people to task for showing off their lack of grammar skills in emails, blog posts and texts.
GREGG ALLMAN FILMMAKERS SURRENDER, MAKE BAIL
SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — The two filmmakers involved in a film about Gregg Allman have been booked on involuntary manslaughter charges. Randall Miller and his wife and business partner Jody Savin were booked over the weekend at the Wayne County jail about 60 miles southwest of Savannah, Georgia. They posted $25,000 bond apiece — and have since returned to California. The two and a producer are charged with involuntary manslaughter and criminal trespassing after a train plowed into the crew working on the Allman movie. A camera assistant was killed and six other crew members were injured in the February accident. Production on the film has since been stopped.
