School will be dismissed for the summer on Friday, May 16, at noon. We will have an all-school Mass at 9 AM on Friday. The Award Ceremony will be immediately following Mass. Students will return to school and go class by class into the gym to sign yearbooks after awards. At 11:45 the students will go to the blacktop and symbolically
move to the next year by standing in following grades’ line and greeting the next year’s teacher. The School Board will provide ice cream, and we will all say goodbye until next August.
This has been such a good school year. I am extremely grateful that, at this time, all staff will be returning for the 2014-2015 school year. Thank you to all the staff for working so well together and having the welfare of our students at the heart of all your teaching.
Thank you to Theresa Broad for doing an outstanding job in the lunchroom. You have been a Godsend. Thank you to all the volunteers that have so selflessly given of your time in the lunchroom, on the practice fields and in the classrooms. SAA would not exist without you.
Thank you to Parent’s Inc. for all you do for the school. Teresa Sanders, Colleen Busch, Heather Seebohm, Lori Brennan, Tabetha Smith, Julie Weems and Stephanie Shannon, you are truly one of the best group of parents with which I have ever worked.
Eighth grade parents thank you for all you have done. The breakfast was wonderful! I will miss those of you who had your last child graduate from SAA. I will be anxiously awaiting your grandchildren starting at SAA. Goodbye to the students that are moving over the summer we will miss you.
Have a great summer!
