Heavy, wet snow is creating problems for older trees in Alliance.

Limbs began cracking around 5:30 a.m., Thursday.

The snow is expected to last until 11 a.m., as the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until then.

As of 7 a.m, the Alliance Airport had received sixty one-hundredths (.60) of an inch of moisture since 6 p.m. Wednesday.
