A Colorado man has verbally accepted an offer to become the next principal at Alliance High School.

George Clear of Kersey, Colorado was interviewed Monday afternoon by several groups associated with Alliance High School. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Troy Unzicker says he received positive feedback from all the groups who interviwed Mr. Clear, and he made a verbal offer Monday night which Clear accepted.

Clear was a middle school principal in Ogallala for three years before serving as principal and athletic director at Platte Valley High School in Kersey for seven years.

Action on Clear’s contract is expected at the May 19 board meeting. Clear shared with the interview committees that he has a daughter who attends Chadron State College.
