The Box Butte County 4-H Council is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2014 4-H scholarships. The criteria used to select the recipients includes: Leadership, Academics, Personal Growth and 4-H Career. An emphasis is placed on leadership, involvement and growth within the 4-H program.

The following High School Seniors were selected to receive scholarships:

Roy Kesterson, Alliance High School, son of Clint & Kristin Kesterson: — $1,000 4-H Council Scholarship and $500 5-C’s 4-H Scholarship

Krista Carter, Alliance High School, daughter of Keith & Katie Carter:  $1,000 4-H Council Scholarship

Chase Dye, Alliance High School, son of Bart & Kathy Dye:  $500 5-C’s 4-H Scholarship

Eli Rischling, Alliance High School, son of Dave & Shawna Rischling: $100 Sharon Davis Memorial 4-H Scholarship — Photo not available.
