All of us at KCOW, like just about everybody else in the USA, are wild about Thanksgiving. How can you not love a holiday with football, great food, Grandmas, Grandpas and giant cartoon characters?
Since it is a holiday, for the last several years we’ve taken the opportunity to make Thanksgiving an on-air nostalgia trip. And this year we’re starting the fun three days early, as The Workday Show steps aside for three days of specials. Then, on Thanksgiving Day itself, we’ve got an Overstuffed marathon of goodies spanning the 1940s through the ’70s.
Our Thanksgiving Week 9am specials and the Thanksgiving Day Overstuffed Marathon are presented by Thiele Gifts and More, reminding you to get lots of sleep after that big Turkey Day dinner–so you can be up bright and early the next day for Black Friday specials at Thieles!
