21 year old Jessica Littlejohn of Scottsbluff earned her third straight trip to the Miss Nebraska Pageant Saturday when she was crowned Miss Crane Watch Festival in Kearney.

Littlejohn…at Miss Nebraska last year as Scotts Bluff County Fair Queen and this past summer as Miss Chadron…had lost in 3 local pageants since then and says she entered the Miss Crane Watch Festival more for the experience and to make sure it had a large enough field than with any expectations of winning.

As a result, she says winning the crown left her “very excited and very surprised”…describing her feelings as like “butterflies and excitement and bubbles.”

21-year old Kalyssa Hoefer of Friend…another former Miss Nebraska contestant who was Miss Alliance last year…was1st Runner Up to Miss Crane Watch Festival, while 18-year old Kate Lynne Duncan of Morrill, received the Community Service Award.
