65-year-old James Parks of Alliance made his first appearance in Box Butte County Court Thursday on seven counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Parks was arraigned on the charges and scheduled to return to court with his attorney, Tyler Petitt of Scottsbluff, on October 17 at 9 a.m. He remains free on $3,000 cash bond.
Parks was arrested at his home Tuesday following a four-month investigation begun when his employer contacted authorities about questionable file names that had been found in Parks’ work computer.
