A young Alliance family needs your help.

Reagan Petty, the daughter of Brandon and Tamra Petty, was born July 31, 2013 at the Rocky Mountain Pediatric Hospital with a cyst on her brain. While Reagan’s initial prognosis was not promising, she has already undergone several surgeries and has overcome many obstacles. Her family was thrilled to be able to return home with her in September.

Brandon is employed at BNSF and Tamra is a stay-at-home mom. Their family is involved with the Calvary Assembly of God Church and Tamra is a leader in a local parents group, All Mom’s and Dad’s of Alliance. Big sister, Taylor, is a student in Busy Bunnies at St. Agnes Academy.

The Petty family is facing a long road filled with both medical questions and expenses. In order to help the family defray some of their medical costs, a group of family and friends is holding a silent auction and raffle, on Saturday, October 12 from 10 am to 5 pm in the former Dollar General building at 321 Box Butte Avenue. The fundraiser will be held during the Autumn on the Bricks festival.

There will be silent auction items, including Husker memorabilia, gift baskets, gift cards, and more.

All proceeds will go to the family for medical expenses incurred after Reagan’s birth.

An account has been set up at Great Western Bank under Tamra Petty for monetary donations.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25

Raffle items include:

1. Four tickets to Husker Basketball game on December 14th (in Lincoln) and a basketball signed by Jordan Hooper

2. Nebraska Cornhusker football signed by Eric Crouch and Bobby Newcombe.

3. Laser signed 2013 Nebraska Cornhuskers football.
