MAN ACCUSED OF STEALING FROM LINCOLN RACQUET CLUB

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A 37-year-old personal trainer has been accused of faking training sessions so he could bilk his Lincoln employer out of commissions.

The Lincoln Journal Star reports that Aaron Crooks is charged with theft, which carries a maximum prison sentence of 20 years.

Court records say an internal audit at the Lincoln Racquet Club showed Crooks faked sessions from October 2011 to August 2012. The total loss is still being determined.

Crooks is free on bond. A public phone listing for him could not be found. His attorney did not immediately return a message Wednesday from The Associated Press.
