NEW YORK (AP) – Say what you want about Miley Cyrus’ performance on the MTV Video Music Awards, but she’s laughing all the way to the bank.

MTV reports pre-orders of Cyrus’ upcoming album “Bangerz” has pushed it to number 5 on the iTunes album chart. It doesn’t come out until October. Robin Thicke’s single “Give It To U” jumped 306 percent in sales, while his “Blurred Lines” album saw a 30 percent increase in sales.

Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Drake also saw sales spikes on iTunes after the VMAs.
