PRINCE TO TESTIFY AT MICHAEL JACKSON TRIAL (NO…NOT THAT PRINCE…)

LOS ANGELES (AP) – It may be one of the more dramatic moments in the long trial in which Michael Jackson’s mother and kids are suing the concert promoter that handled his ill-fated comeback tour. Jackson’s oldest son Prince is expected on the stand today. Prince is 16 – and is to be the first of three Jackson family members to testify. The plaintiffs’ attorneys also want to call T.J. Jackson – the kids co-guardian and T.J.’s Brother Taj. Jackson’s family is suing AEG, claiming the promoter was negligent when it hired the doctor later convicted of involuntary manslaughter for giving Jackson an overdose of the anesthetic propofol. AEG denies any wrongdoing.
