A welcome home reception is scheduled for Miss Nebraska Jacee Pilkington of Bayard this evening (Monday) at the Hampton Inn in Scottsbluff starting at 6:30 p.m.

Pilkington says that one of the highlights of the evening for her will be perform her talent song, How Great Thou Art. 

Pilkington will also discuss her first week as Miss Nebraska, spent almost entirely in North Platte with post pageant activities and the Nebraskaland Days celebration.

The event is free to the public. Miss America will be held later this year in Atlantic City, so a local fundraising golf tournament is being discussed to help raise money for Pilkington’s expenses to Atlantic City.

The date for that golf tournament and specifics of other fundraising activities will also be discussed by her local committee this evening.
