PELINI SAYS HEALTH IS VERY GOOD

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says he has a “clean bill of health.”

Pelini said Monday at his weekly news conference that he had an upset stomach before he was taken to a hospital by ambulance during the Cornhuskers’ game against Arkansas State on Saturday. He was released late Saturday afternoon.

Pelini said, “I’m not just healthy, I’m very healthy.”

The 44-year-old said he returned to work Sunday to break down film of Nebraska’s 42-13 win over Arkansas State and to begin preparing for this week’s game against Idaho State.

He said he has no heart problems or issues related to stress and that Saturday was “an isolated incident.”
