The City of Alliance is inviting its residents to participate in a Community Forum on Monday, June 10, at 6:00 pm at the Performing Arts Center.
“Building the Best Hometown in America happens with one brick, one idea, one smile, and one handshake at a time,” said Alliance City Manager J.D. Cox. “So our staff encourages you to bring your ideas for growing and improving Alliance. All City departments will have representatives there to answer questions and listen to new ideas”
There will be several “rotating” stations that citizens will be able to attend and offer input … such as electric, water/sewer, sports and leisure, tourism, the Municipal Building, and others.
“The forum is formatted much the same as the public schools community input strategic planning session that was held last fall,” he added. “That includes prioritizing the projects that attendees deem most important. This will help us in both short and long-range planning.”
Cox is enthusiastic as to what thoughts will be shared Monday night.
“Limitless possibilities and opportunities exist in our community and we challenge you to join us in brainstorming, cooperating and communicating as we continue to “Build the Best Hometown in America,” he said.
